Millennials have been the talk of the town.
For a long time, companies were trying to figure out what attracts them and, more importantly, how to keep them. After being placed on a pedestal for a significant amount of time, it seems like the business world has begun to do a 180. Now, all I see is ‘6 Things Millenials Are Doing Wrong in the WorkPlace’, ‘Mistakes Costing Them The Promotion’ and statements claiming that an entire generation can be labelled as either lazy or having a sense of entitlement.
Now, while I know that all generations are subject to some criticism, some of these stereotypical depictions just don’t sit well with me at all. Technically, I am considered as a millennial (whether I like it or not) and while it looks like we’re now being labelled with a negative stereotype – that doesn’t mean that we have to accept it.
